Call for Volunteers – Education Preparations

The Carlstrom Family Green Space will be seeing some new art projects and themes as the new exhibitions arrive on June 3rd. The Art Gallery is hosting a volunteer work-bee to prepare the new materials for visitors. The work-bee will be held at the Art Gallery and volunteers will be asked to work together with various tasks, including cutting paper shapes, sorting art supplies by colour and/or size, cutting plasticine blocks, cutting ribbon and/or foam shapes, and other small tasks that will supply the Green Space visitors with materials for the coming months.

Summer Art Camps
SUMMER ART CAMPS FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH
Add a little art adventure to your summer! Join the art instructors at the Art Gallery of Grande Prairie to celebrate and explore art through drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, installation art and illustration. The summer art camp will ignite creative imagination in its campers and allow young artists to discover and create in a lively and nurturing studio environment. Projects are inspired by our current exhibitions. Explore and learn with us this summer!

Big changes are coming to the Montrose Cultural Centre this summer! In the next 3 weeks, the City of Grande Prairie will soon begin a summer-long construction project to build the South Montrose Concourse. It will bring a green space with trees and benches running parallel to the south side of the Montrose Cultural Centre.
