Call for Submissions - October 15th Deadline

Submission Guidelines

The gallery presents a diverse program of exhibitions, lectures and meetings with artists, and is involved in the production of curated exhibitions connected to themes developed by the gallery. Together, the programs propose a critical reflection on today’s art and culture.

Night School - David Hoffos

Unveiled on Friday night's 40th Anniversary party, Night School is a permanent public artwork created by Lethbridge-based artist David Hoffos, situated on the grounds of the Art Gallery of Grande Prairie. Occupying and paying tribute to the gallery’s newly-restored heritage facade, this two-channel video and sculptural installation portrays a ghostly illusion of presence and movement in the darkened plaza while referencing the various past histories and activities of the resurrected site.
