Art Walk - September 15On the third Thursday of each month, Art Walk invites you to visit 3 of Grande Prairie's art galleries in one night. It's a great way to enjoy a relaxing, self-guided tour, as well as enjoy free parking after 6pm and free admission to each venue that are all within walking distance of each other.

Construction Continues

The City of Grande Prairie continues the construction project to build the South Montrose Concourse. It will bring a green space with trees and benches running parallel to the south side of the Montrose Cultural Centre building.

During construction, visitors to the Montrose Cultural Centre must enter the building through the North entrance from 103 Ave or the underground parkade. The South entrance doors are now closed for the duration of the construction.

The Montrose Cultural Centre opened its doors in June 2009. It is home to the Art Gallery of Grande Prairie, the Grande Prairie Public Library, Esquires Coffee House, and the Teresa Sargent Hall. It is a place for the community to gather in support of the arts and culture in Grande Prairie.
