In collaboration with the Grande Prairie Pride Society, join us next Friday, October 9 at 7:00pm at Grande Prairie Live Theatre for a poetry reading with Saskatchewan-based artist and poet Zachari Logan, presented as a predecessor to his upcoming exhibition, On the Green Grass, With Sighing and Delight.

Known for his richly detailed depictions of the body, nature, and botanical landscapes, Logan’s work explores queer ecologies and the connections between human and more-than-human life. His poetry and visual art bring together myth, memory, literature, and observations of the Prairie landscape, inviting us to consider how identity and environment shape one another. This reading offers an opportunity to experience Logan’s poetic practice ahead of the opening of On the Green Grass, With Sighing and Delight, his first major solo presentation in Northern Alberta.
