Meet the Artist – Virtual Tour with Carl White

We are pleased to offer a new series called Meet the Artist. Join the Art Gallery of Grande Prairie’s Curator, Learning, Sabine Schneider, in conversation with Artist Carl White about his exhibition I dreamed a Universe! on display at the Art Gallery of Grande Prairie until May 30, 2021.

We have created this program for you to be able to ‘visit’ the Art Gallery in the comfort of your home/classroom/office/location. After your group has watched the video, you can facilitate the art project inspired by the artist’s exhibition with our FREE art activity kits. Please email jamie-lee@aggp.ca or call 780-357-7480 to coordinate the delivery of the FREE art activity kits to your location.

About the Artist

Carl White

Carl White was born in Liverpool, England in 1969. He Studied at the Alberta College of Art & Design from 1989-1992 in Calgary, Alberta. His paintings and drawings have been featured in many solo and group exhibitions across Canada since 1992 and reside in numerous private collections nationally and internationally. White currently lives and works in Calgary, Alberta where he divides his time between teaching and studio work.
