Art Gallery of Grande Prairie Permanent Collection

The Permanent Collection at the Art Gallery of Grande Prairie currently has over 800 works. A large component of our collecting practice is dedicated to acquiring works of significant value to the Peace Region from local artists, in addition to work of national and international acclaim.

Over the years several of these artists have had exhibitions at the gallery. Included in this exhibition are works brought into the collection over the last two years. This exhibition represents a glimpse into the future of our ongoing commitment to collecting work of cultural and historical importance.

Included in this exhibition are works by Ronald Kostyniuk, Paul Qayutinnuaq, Phillip Woolf, Graham French, Allan Harding MacKay, and Peter von Tiesenhausen.
