Wearable Art is a look into the creative process of six local designers. Getting started can sometimes be difficult, but inspiration can come from anything and anywhere. For this exhibition, the designers drew their inspiration from works of art from the Permanent Collection of the Art Gallery of Grande Prairie.

The creative process can look very different from the perspective of each designer. In creating a statement piece for the exhibition each designer takes a different approach, there is no wrong way to get started and that is what makes the creative process so amazing. Each of the pieces in Wearable Art makes a statement about the creative spirit that guides both artists and designers.
