A Journey Through Time: A Community Art Event

Join us at the Montrose Cultural Centre for a community art event to celebrate the Grande Prairie Public Library’s 75th Anniversary and Grande Prairie’s past 100 years. People will travel and connect to each era through art activities and memory evoking displays.

This event is free and open to the public.
All ages are welcome.

Thank YouAlberta Culture Days was an amazing weekend here in Grande Prairie and we would like to thank everyone who joined the Art Gallery! Thank you to everyone who attended artist Tanya Harnett's presentation to hear her speak about her work and the exhibition The Lebret Residential Petroglyphs. Thank you to all of the families and visitors of all ages who joined us to create colourful paper collages inspired by the abstract artwork of Herb Sellin.

The Art Gallery will resume regular hours on Tuesday, October 14th.
The Montrose Cultural Centre opened its doors in June 2009. It is home to the Art Gallery of Grande Prairie, the Grande Prairie Public Library, Esquires Coffee House, and the Teresa Sargent Hall. It is a place for the community to gather in support of the arts and culture in Grande Prairie.
