Art for the CuriousChildren age 6-12 years old are welcome to explore the Art Gallery’s current exhibitions through a facilitated tour and create art inspired by the exhibitions. This program includes interactive activities in relation to current exhibitions and a facilitated visit to the Art Gallery’s Green Space. STONE CARVING WEEKEND WORKSHOP
Use soapstone and carve your unique stone sculpture. Exhibiting artist Grant Berg takes you through the process of chiseling, filing, sanding and oiling to reveal the stone’s natural beauty and the story it holds.

The Montrose Cultural Centre opened its doors in June 2009. It is home to the Art Gallery of Grande Prairie, the Grande Prairie Public Library, Esquires Coffee House, and the Teresa Sargent Hall. It is a place for the community to gather in support of the arts and culture in Grande Prairie.
