Call for Volunteers
Are you passionate about arts, culture and community? We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us celebrate our 50th at the Art Gallery of Grande Prairie!
The big event will be on Saturday, September 6th, but we are also looking for help with setup the day before and take down the day after the event.
Volunteer Roles Include:
- Welcoming guests and scanning entry tickets
- Setting up the event
- Coat check
- Promoting our 50/50 Raffle
- Cashier
- Live auction spotters
- Live auction art handlers
- Bartending— looking for folks with ProServe!
- Taking down the event the next day
Why Volunteer during “50 Cheers for 50 Years”?

Time Commitment:
A typical volunteer shift is 3 hours, but some positions, like the live auction spotters, will be around 30 mins. We will be looking for help on September 5, 6 and 7 for a variety of tasks. Please inquire for more info.

What is “50 Cheers to 50 Years”?
It will be an exciting evening commemorating 50 years “Building and Sharing the Art Experience” in Grande Prairie. The month of September is Alberta Culture Days and we knew it was the perfect time to celebrate such an important milestone.
